PLACEMENTS:

                  Every year various reputed MNCs like Tata Consultancy Services, HCL, Hexaware, Infosys visit our college campus and recruit a quantum of students for their organizations.  Our students getting recruited in various companies keeps on increasing year by year. To improve the placement record of our students the department organizes different placement training activities with the internal and external expert members. The placement training activities includes solving aptitude questions, logical puzzles, group discussions and conducting mock interviews. NASSCOM online examinations training are provided to the students periodically.

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES:
                 Research activities are ignited among the students by organizing national level conference, seminars and workshops under the sponsorship of various funding agencies like DRDO, CSIR, etc. A DRDO grant has been sanctioned for a research project entitled “Identifying Anomalies in Thermal Camera Images – A Visual Cryptographic Approach“ worth of Rs.19.2 lakhs.  A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) namely COIN (Collaborative Open Innovation Network) programme, which enables and inspires our final year students to do projects provided by CSC. In the year 2011, the department conducted a two day national level conference sponsored by DRDO and a two days national level seminar sponsored by CSIR and DRDO. In the year 2012, the department organized two national level seminars organized by DRDO and CSIR respectively.
